You never know what you will find at the twice monthly Boaters Flea Market. There is an ever-changing assortment of products.
We headed to Nana Juana this morning to see what treasures we could find on sale. The flea market switches to different marinas. If we didn’t find anything to buy, Nana Juana is also a great place to get a coffee and check out boats in the boat yard.
There were some interesting home remedy tinctures. I should try the Anti-age one since six months of remodeling followed by a boat haul out in Rio Dulce is guaranteed to age you a few extra years.
Instead, I bought a pair of shorts (1 quetzal which is .12 cents) and Randall got us some Lithuanian cheese (about $7.50). We will just have to keep hoping that Modelo has anti-aging properties. I know there are those who say it has an aging effect but I am running my own experiment.
As usual, the Nana Juana yard is packed. I am sure they will find room for us if we go there for the haul-out. There were several bigger, newer versions of Fountain Pajot boats like the one above. We are pretty happy with our older FP. I can’t imagine having more boat to take care of. Of course, we have said that with every boat we ever had. And still went a little bigger.
I do love the one-of-a-kind boats. This one was eye-catching. I hope I get to meet the artist. I want to see if the inside is equally unique.
I know everyone is waiting to hear if Lithuanian cheese gets a thumbs up. While I have written up this blog, Randall has sliced. It is yummy! Plus Randall says it probably needs to be eaten quickly since it isn’t full of preservatives. I am up to the challenge.
