It has been cold around here but we braved the elements today to bike down to the fort construction site.
We have been foraging for building materials.
We take basic construction tools. Hatchet, hammer, nails. Then we beat on stuff until we warm up. A few minutes usually does it.
Then we take a break and play on stuff.
The cows approached to check out the bikes which were parked in the middle of their path. They seemed uncertain about what to do.
We have set our flights for returning to Guatemala so there is a lot to be done. However, “erect KEEP OUT sign at fort” can now be crossed off the list.
Hopefully, the cows can read.
Bully is the newest member of the herd. Granddad came in yesterday to see if Lily wanted to drive with him up the pasture to find the new calf. They found him sleeping by mama and Lily has named him Bully. She loves him already and likes to check to see if mama is taking good care of him. So far, so good.
Loved this!
aaw, thanks. Also, we hereby grant you permission to ignore the sign and play in the fort. I know you want to.
Just read this to mom and dad…… He informed me Bully was Lily’s show calf as well…. He is now reminiscing about you showing your calves!!!
y does it say keep out
