Mamaw, Papaw and Toni arrived for the much anticipated Roatan visit last Wednesday. Apparently, the Oklahoma City-to-Houston leg was terrible due to weather. To cap things off, the pilot for the Houston-to-Roatan flight was a little hesitant to apply brakes until right there at the end of the runway. Apparently, Faye is not a fan of turbulence or rapid plane deceleration. Toni said she heard the words “Only for Lily” more than once.
My plan was to post several times during the Fuchs Family Roatan visit so Danny, who was back home working, could take a break from adding up monthly macaroni sales figures and view a picture of Toni dragging a kayak across the beach. Um, sorry Danny. We didn’t forget about you but we were so busy with the snorkeling, the sailing, the swimming and the drinking of Rum and I hated to keep everyone awake pecking at the keyboard at 9 pm at night. Yeah, we were in bed at 9 pm every night. Yeah, asleep.
So we had a spectacular week which I can’t possible cover tonight. However, I did want to post a “We are still alive (barely)” message and say awww, we already miss you Carl, Faye and Toni. I will post a recap over the next couple of days and post lots of pictures. That way Toni can take a break from monitoring the Oklahoma air quality to see a picture of herself and parents standing on a beach in Roatan surrounded by noticeable clean air.
