Plans for Roatan

We had dinner with Jerry and Debbie of Czech-n-Mate Tuesday night at Tortugal Marina. They have been to Roatan several times and making plans to leave soon for another trip. Before the night was done, we were tossing around plans to tag along. So the past two days, we have been methodically attacking the to-do list of 20 items which had to be done in order to leave. We’ve got provisions, cooking propane and gave the engine a going-over. We have finished the laundry and got the dinghy running. We are down to only the last item: get the boat behind us to move. We are double-stacked in the marina and the boat owner behind us just bought his boat this month. The marina has been given the ok to move the boat in the morning, providing the weather is good. So early next morning, we should be motoring back to the Caribbean and setting sail for Roatan. It is about 150 miles and we will probably anchor along the way and rest – at Tres Puentes or Utila or both.

Tonight, we are going to the weekly trivia for a last night of fun here so we are a little rushed, still. Sorry, we have not blogged much but we will do better in Roatan!! Lily wrote a few sentences and took some pics today of Nana Juana. She is excited to get to Roatan because of all the snorkeling and nice beaches there.

Hello, we are in Nana Juana . I am going to explain it to you. The Office is mostly cement, and on the sides it has little cushion area. So now I’m going to explain the pool to you. It goes pretty deep. They are building a shallower pool near it.
